The Trend Steel 120mm Block
(excepts both 40 and 50mm Knives/ limiters)
A solid steel precision turned moulding block 30mm bore, which will accept the whole range of profile knives and limiters shown within this section. Limiters are a safety device designed to limit the amount of cut taken by the cutters on each rotation of the block. They take the form of a dummy cutter with the profile cut a millimetre or two below the cutter profile and the sharp edges removed. They fit into the slots in the block in front of the main cutters and are secured by the same wedge as the cutters.
- Cutterhead body in hard wearing steel complete with two tool steel rebate knives and corresponding limitor plates.
- Suitable for jointing, rebating and profiling with 4mm thick knives and limitors in softwood and hardwood.
